Omelets is one of my favourite breakfast foods. But how do you create them perfectly? I've tried many different methods and recipes, but none of them seem to work! I have some tips and tricks to help you make delicious, fluffy omelets every single morning.

It is important to know that eggs can be temperamental when making omelets. They must be fresh, preferably from the organic market, and be kept cold until cooking. If you don't keep them cold enough, the whites won't form properly, and the yolks will break down too much and become runny. This causes your omelets to look oddly colored. If you plan to cook the eggs right away, it is best to use room temperature eggs.

Another tip is to separate your egg before adding it into the pan. Because this could cause your omelet to become curdled, you don't want any yolk to be mixed with any white.

If you add the egg directly onto the stovetop, you might end up burning the bottom part of the egg, which would ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, microwave the egg for 10 seconds before adding it to the pan. The microwave heat cooks the eggs just right without overcooking them.

Next, let’s talk about mixing the egg. You want to mix the eggs thoroughly before you add them. You can do this by turning the bowl of your mixer upside down. Then shake the bowl vigorously. By doing this, the egg is thoroughly mixed with the air in the bowl.

This recipe is best when used with whole milk. But, you can use skimmed milk as well.
